Every new subscriber gets a 3-email drip over 7 days introducing them to my brand, story, and value. It’s the digital version of a firm handshake.

2. Segment Based on Behavior

Clicks, opens, and downloads tell me what people care about. If you click a link about Constant Contact, I tag you as “interested in email tools” and follow up accordingly.

3. Set Up Evergreen Campaigns

Think: a monthly promo, an abandoned cart reminder, or a nurture series. Once written, they run forever.

I use this method to stay top of mind without writing a new campaign every week.

4. Measure + Optimize

Automation is not “set and forget.” I review click-throughs, reply rates, and unsubscribes monthly.
